Our Process
How we work with partners
Every engagement is different. The process isn't.
Step 1
Connect
We start by getting to know you - your context, your goals and the communities or organisations you work with. We're not looking to sell a fixed product. We're looking for the places where Shared Horizon can genuinely add value.
Step 2
Design
Together we shape the right approach. That might be a futures thinking workshop, a creative collaboration, an advocacy partnership, or something that spans all three. We bring the methodology. You bring the context. The design emerges from both.
Step 3
Build
We develop the proposal, secure the resources and put the conditions in place. Sometimes that means going to market together. Sometimes it means finding funding. Always it means making sure what we're building is grounded in the people it's for.
Step 4
Deliver
We implement - facilitating, creating, convening, advocating. And we capture what emerges: the stories, the data, the visions. Because what people imagine when given the space to think differently is the most important thing we produce.
Step 5
Amplify
We share what we've built - connecting it to wider networks, policy conversations and public spaces. The work doesn't end at delivery. It feeds back into the ecosystem we're trying to change.

What people say
Don't just take our word for it.
Easy to engage with and clear. It made me feel optimistic! It's possible to take part in conversations even if I'm not an expert. I can take an active role in positive change. It made me appreciate how many variables, drivers and trends there are to be considered. I came in thinking about the future as something that happens to us, I'm leaving seeing it as something we actively shape. Everyone could share their opinions without fear of being judged. My thoughts and experiences are more relevant to creating something new than I realised. It allowed me to reflect on the future from a solution-oriented lens, to share and consider the perspectives of others. Everyone was listened to and curious. It showed me perspectives of signals I rarely focus on. It allowed me to feel an inkling of hope again that I can feed back into my spheres of influence. Yes. We were asked a lot of questions that I had thought around but never really thought about specifically. Everyone comes from a different place and has something interesting to contribute. I learned a lot from the others. The what if questions were amazing. Imagining a better world isn't idealistic, it's necessary.
